My mummy is making this blog for me because she kept one up for my sister Abi for a whole year, so it's only fair i get one too.
So here are the stats:
So here are the stats:
- I was heaps chubbier than Abi when born: 4.15kg and 54cm long.
- Mum tried for ages to deliver me naturally (31 hrs) but after trying and trying and getting very tired, she ended up with another Caesarean. She says recovery was easier this time, and she didn't get cankles afterwards (like with Abi).
- I was a booby boy from day 1 and we had mixed success with breastfeeding. But then i started hurting mum & not getting enough milk so i went on the bottle. That's when i got even chubbier!
- At 6 wks i was almost 6kg (5.84kg to be exact) so mummy's doctor told her to put me on a diet. But she didn't. I'll trim down when i start crawling, she reckons. Plus chubby babies are way cuter.
- Abi loves me very much and wants to hug me all the time. She squeals when she talks to me and shows off her toys and dance moves for me. She likes to sit on the lounge with me in front of her. She gives me big, squeezy hugs.
- I started smiling at people from early on (about 4 wks old) and now i make lots of sounds to talk to mum & dad, mostly 'goo' and 'nngggg'. They love it. Can't get enough of me.
- In Sydney there is a Whooping Cough epidemic so i was completely ripped off and had to have my 8wk shots at 6 wks. Bummer! But although i cried (when Abi didn't at her 1st shots), i was pretty cool about it afterwards. Mum gave me panadol for the pain and that was the first time i cried with sadness in my face. LOL that stuff is hideous!
- I'm almost 8 wks old now and this weekend i'm being shipped off from mummy & daddy's room to my own. I cry the house down around 5am so I hope Abi, my next door neighbour, understands that this is not forever.
Here are some photos of life so far. I am very cute and very loved.
